Peggy Guggenheim Collection: Let’s st’ART again!

As of August 1, The Peggy Guggenheim Collection will be open Friday-Monday from 10 am to 6 pm.
Timed ticketing will allow access to the museum. The staff will implement the most up-to-date safety procedures for the protection of public, in accordance with government regulations, all in the spirit of our museum’s hospitality.

The permanent collection will be open to the public, while the temporary exhibition Migrating Objects: Arts of Africa, Oceania, and the Americas from the Peggy Guggenheim Collection remains closed in the hope of opening it soon.

Entrance will be on a timed quota basis from 10 am to 6 pm, and must be booked in advance calling  +39 041 2405440 (Mon–Fri, 10 am–3 pm) or sending an e-mail to prenotazioni@guggenheim-venice.itindicating your preferred entrance time

 

TO PURCHASE TICKETS OR BOOK YOUR ENTRANCE
  • The visitors can purchase tickets online and select a preferred time of entrance (the online ticket grants preferential access).
  • Visitors can purchase tickets at the entrance desk of the museum, although payment is restricted to credit or debit cards (entrance is granted based on availability, due to a maximum number of visitors allowed in the museum in compliance with the current regulations).
  • Members and visitors who are granted free entrance need to book in advance and indicate their preferred day and time of entrance: please call +39 041 2405440 (Mon–Fri, 10 am–3 pm), or send an email to prenotazioni@guggenheim-venice.it.
INFORMATION FOR VISITING THE MUSEUM
  • The maximum number of visitors in the museum cannot exceed 70.
  • The museum will limit admissions in order to respect the number of visitors allowed.
  • Purchasing tickets online is recommended. However, tickets are available for purchase in the museum ticket office, payment by credit or debit card only.
  • Lockers are available and regularly disinfected; they replace the coatroom, which will remain closed.
INFORMATION FOR VISITING THE GALLERIES AND OUTDOOR AREAS (GARDEN AND TERRACE)
  • Inside the museum it is compulsory to maintain an interpersonal distance of at least 1 meter.
  • Face masks are compulsory.
  • Hand-sanitizing disinfectant gel dispensers are available.
INFORMATION FOR VISITING THE SHOP OUTSIDE THE MUSEUM (INSIDE THE MUSEUM THE SHOP IS STILL CLOSED)
  • The maximum number of visitors inside the Museum Shop cannot exceed 8.
  • Face masks are compulsory inside the Museum Shop.
MUSEUM CAFÉ  inside the Museum is open to the public.
INFORMATION FOR ACCESSING RESTROOMS

The museum guarantees daily and frequent sanitation of the restrooms in compliance with the current regulations.

  • Restrooms may be accessed by one person at a time in order to avoid gatherings or situations in which the interpersonal distance is less than 1 meter.
  • Face masks are compulsory inside the restrooms.
  • Hand-sanitizing disinfectant gel dispensers are available.

MUSEUM CAFÉ is not open to the public.
